If you sent in your Registration form(s) without sending in a self-addressed, stamped envelope for us to return your tickets when that time comes; your tickets will be held for you at the Resort and you will need to ask for the Rally Wagonmaster to get them. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR REGISTRATION FORMS IN WITH A SELF-STAMPED SELF ADDRESSED ENVELOPE. For those that don’t have an RV and want to enjoy the Rally we have worked with two local hotels on special discounts for the Rally.
Hampton Inn – Located just outside the main gate, west side of the entry drive3700 West Florida Ave Hemet, CA 92545(951) 929 7373They are offering a 10% discount off whatever the rate is at the time of booking. As of 6/15/21 the rate is roughly $208/night so the Rally rate would be roughly $160/night. When booking, call the hotel and let them know you’re with an event at Golden Village Palms. We spoke with the General Manager, her name is Georgina Nunaray.

The alternative is to use your Elks Benefits and book through Hotel Engine. To do this, go to http://elksbenefits.com/travel/ and scroll down to the Hotel Engine “Book Now” button. You must use that link as it’s a referral from the Elks to Hotel Engine. If you try to go direct to Hotel Engine they may not accept your email or request to join. You will need to create an account, then search for hotels in Hemet. You will see there are many options, however for the two closest to the Rally we found the following options: Hampton Inn, as above, $208Best Western, as above, $109
Bear in mind these rates are always subject to change and availability. The G.M. at the Hampton Inn told me they have been booked almost every weekend.

Our next Rally meeting will be on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:30am to 1pm at the Bellflower Elks Lodge #888 located at 16426 Bellflower Blvd. (NE Corner of Oak St.) Bellflower, CA 90706-5415. Parking and entry are at the back of the building.
This meeting is open to ALL Lodges to bring some ideas, sign up for events and listen to what is already being planned for this year’s Rally.
Do you want to be a bigger part of the Elks Rally? You can do so by taking on an open position and really getting involve in the best part of planning the Rally.
We have our Secretary/Webmaster position open immediately.
Take meeting minutes and send them out to all participants.
Handle all correspondence.
Send out Thank You notices to all the individuals who donated large sums of money, condos or vacations trips for raffles.
Send letters to all the Lodges who raised over $1,000.00 after the Treasurer receives the certificates from CHEA. These certificates will be presented to the Lodges at the Rally meeting on Sunday.
Send out letters to all the Lodges requesting their help in publicizing the Rally.
Maintain all records/files etc. on flash drive.
Order staff badges when necessary.
Order shirts when necessary.
NOTE: Badges and shirts are for Rally staff only (Not helpers)
Compile all the information for the Rally Booklet and sends it to the printer (Pat Riley) so it’s back in time to be put in the Rally packets.
Assists wherever they are needed at the Rally.
Count the money and provide written receipts with Treasurer at the Rally at the closing meeting on Sunday.
We have our Meals Coordinator opening up for next year. Interested now, you can get some great training!
Attend Rally meetings and vote on planning decisions.
Contact and negotiation meal contracts for dinners.
Organize breakfasts with Lodges available to run them
Schedule and plan with Lodges our outdoor food vendors.

Great news! We’re in the process of firming up dates, events and entertainment for the 2021 Rally! We hope to confirm the dates this week. Unfortunately there was a schedule conflict for the weekend of Oct 7-10th so we are waiting on confirmation for the dates of October 14-17th. The location will remain the same as last year – Golden Village Palms in Hemet. As soon as we have the dates and rates we’ll get them posted up for you! Thank you for your patience and continued support! This is going to be another fun year and we have some new events lined up that should make for a great weekend!
We have now on the books for one of our fun events for each LODGE as a GROUP to do a decorating contest of your camping area (as a group). The them will be Purple Pig! More details to follow; but if you are attending the Rally get with your group and get your site(s) decorated for the upcoming fun competition!
Well Rally time is over, but the work is not. While we try and wrap things up and get everything outstanding paid and finalized for this year’s Rally, we can only give you and estimate of about $34,000 raised this year. We definitely beat last year, but again have some last minute expenses that have to be turned in, tally it all up and then get it into the bank for FINAL numbers.
Thank you to Jack and Cher Lintz, Chuck Vollrath, Eileen Rasmussen, Stan and Darlene Vastine for your year’s of service on our corp of “Purple Shirts” and for all you have done for the rally. We hope we can see you all next year as attendants, even though you have moved on from your Rally Officer positions. Again, thank you for your year’s of service.
Welcome to our new Rally Chairman, Chip Durham who has a great corp of Officers coming up next year for our 52nd Annual Elks Rally and they have already got some great ideas going.
Last but definitely not least, thank you to all the Purple Shirts that worked so hard again this year and are coming back next year for 2020. This is always a team effort and it’s a great team to be part of. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Congratulations to Clovis Lodge for winning the Sunday drawing of the bar credit totaling about $4775 that will be sent in to CHEA for their Citation. This was new this year and we drew a lodge name on Sunday to share the credit, since it’s a group effort at that bar!
If we have forgotten anything, please our apologies in advance. We will be sending off all final information to CHEMPI in the next few weeks so that each Lodge gets their special citation next year.
